2 Arrested For Shooting Gun In Residential Area: Nassau Police
Police say the two men, 19 and 17, fired multiple shots in a residential area of Uniondale. No one was injured.
UNIONDALE, NY — Nassau County police arrested two young men Wednesday night for shooting a gun in Uniondale, police said.
According to police, officers responded to Ash Court at 6:50 p.m. for a call of multiple shots fired. When they arrived, police found a Ruger handgun and a shell casing.
Police say the investigation led to the arrest of Jamal Cole, 19, of Ash Court, and a 17-year-old boy from Roosevelt, who police did not name. Both were arrested without incident.

No one was harmed by the gunshots, police say.
Cole is charged with second-degree criminal possession of a weapon, first-degree reckless endangerment, criminal possession of a firearm and seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance. The 17-year-old was charged with second-degree criminal possession of a weapon and criminal possession of a firearm. They are both scheduled to be arraigned later today.
