Annual Christmas Concert to be held on Saturday, December 3 at Holy Trinity Orthodox Church of East Meadow
Free annual concert to be held on Saturday, December 3. Advent reception and holiday boutique to be held after the concert.

East Meadow – November 2016 – Holy Trinity Orthodox Church will host its annual Christmas concert on Saturday, December 3 at 7:00 PM. The parish has been producing the Christmas concert since 2008 for the benefit of the local South Shore community. Vespers (evening prayer) will be held at 6:00 PM before the concert; all are welcome to worship with us. An Advent reception will follow the concert. The concert and reception are both free of charge. A Christmas boutique will also be held after the concert.
Dr. Nicholas Reeves, Holy Trinity’s choir director, commented “the Holy Trinity Choir is looking forward to once again sharing the joy of the holiday season with our community. Moreover, the Youth Choir will participate in the concert for the first time ever. We are very proud of our young parishioners for contributing to this festive event.” The concert is based on the English Festival of Lessons and Carols and allows the audience to experience Orthodox Christian liturgical hymns for the feast of the Lord’s Nativity (Christmas) in the context of traditional Western carols. The Annual Christmas Concert has become a South Shore tradition and a way for many of our neighbors to begin their holiday season.
