Club Pilates Pledges Donation to Nassau University Medical Center
Club Pilates East Meadow to Donate $500 to Local Medical Center, Plus an Additional $100 for Each New Member to Join This Weekend

Club Pilates, the nation’s largest premium Pilates franchise, will celebrate the two-year anniversary of their East Meadow studio in conjunction with National Pilates Day on May 1. In an effort to positively impact the local community, Club Pilates East Meadow has pledged to donate $500 to the Nassau University Medical Center, including an additional $100 for each new member who signs up from Friday, April 30 through Sunday, May 2. Located at 1949 Front St., the studio offers members full-body workouts that improve posture, balance, flexibility and strength.
The bright studio welcomes members into a supportive atmosphere where they can choose from three class levels and eight signature group class formats that utilize a variety of equipment, including Reformers, EXO chairs, TRX, TriggerPoint and springboard.
The East Meadow location is owned and operated by Rebecca Stalek and Martin Davis. After serving as a primary care doctor for over 10 years, Rebecca decided to focus on wellness through fitness and mind body practices. Martin currently serves as a captain in the New York Police Department. A fitness enthusiast, Martin attended a Pilates class and immediately found the workout effective and unique. To better understand the science of Pilates, Martin earned his certification as a trainer at Club Pilates. The NYPD Captain now teaches classes at their studio in New York City.

“We’re excited to have a way to celebrate these special events while giving back to our community,” said Rebecca. “Our neighbors at Nassau University Medical Center have had an extremely difficult year, as many of us have. To be able to use our business in the community to provide some positivity is very humbling.”
Club Pilates is the first Pilates organization to create a proprietary 500-hour Teacher Training Program designed to thoroughly and safely teach group Reformer Pilates classes along with TRX and TriggerPoint. Club Pilates has more than 600 active locations in 39 states.
