Cops: Anti-Gay Slur Scrawled on Car, Windshields Smashed
Nassau County Police report on criminal mischief to vehicles.

Nassau County Police reported the following incidents of criminal mischief to vehicles:
- Aug. 5: Fendale Street, Franklin Square; drivers side door keyed.
- Aug. 6: Surrey Road, N. New Hyde Park; small rocks or BB gun used to blow out back and side windows and causing indentations in left side doors.
- Aug. 6: Jamaica Boulevard, Carle Place; drivers side glass window shattered.
- Aug. 6: Pine Street, Herricks; front drivers side window damaged.
- Aug. 6. Preston Lane, Merrick; rear passengers side window broken.
- Aug. 6: Twin Lane N., Wantagh; passenger and drivers side door handles glued.
- Aug. 7: Massapequa FD Rescue, Massapequa Park; car keyed.
- Aug. 8: Foster Avenue, Valley Stream; right side rear passenger door keyed.
- Aug. 8: Fendale Street, Franklin Square; “homo” keyed on car trunk, drivers side front tire slashed.
- Aug. 8: 7th Avenue, Sea Cliff; deep scratches on multiple cars.
- Aug. 8: Lido Boulevard, Point Lookout; deep scratch from metal object found on car.
- Aug. 9: Firethorne Lane, Valley Stream; three sides of car keyed.
- Aug. 9: Firethorne Lane, Valley Stream; front passenger door keyed.
- Aug. 9: Collins Avenue, Williston Park; drivers side rear window shattered.
- Aug. 9: Green Lane, Levittown; brick thrown through rear window of car, damaged window and body.
- Aug. 9: Lufberry Avenue, Wantagh; large rock struck front drivers side window and drivers side mirror.
- Aug. 9: Gingham Lane, Levittown; rear and passenger side windows broken.
- Aug. 9: Bellows Lane, Levittown; drivers side window smashed.
- Aug. 9: Swan Lane, Levittown; paving block thrown at rear bumper and caused a dent.
- Aug. 9: Mark Alan Drive, Wantagh; rear windshield and drivers side glass broken.
- Aug. 9: Harding Street, Uniondale; two passenger tires flattened.
- Aug. 10: Atlantic Avenue municipal lot, East Rockaway; four tires slashed.
- Aug. 10: John Burns Park, Massapequa; rear tires slashed, left side tire on boat trailer slashed, boat trailer possibly tampered with.
- Aug. 10: Division Avenue, Levittown; front left tire punctured.
- Aug. 11: Mitchel Avenue, East Meadow; rear window broken.
- Aug. 12: Brent Drive, Wantagh; shaving cream and eggs thrown onto upholstery and caused damage. Eggs also thrown at house, damaging front window and screen.
