Nassau County Changes Location Of Tonight's 9/11 Memorial
Predicted rain forced the county to move the ceremony indoors, but it will still be at Eisenhower Park.

EAST MEADOW, NY — Due to forecasted rain this afternoon and evening, Nassau County has changed the location of its Sept. 11 remembrance ceremony scheduled for this afternoon.
Originally planned to be held at the county's 9/11 Memorial in Eisenhower Park, it will now be moved to the nearby Harry Chapin Lakeside Theater, also located at Eisenhower Park. The ceremony will still begin this afternoon at 4:30 p.m.
