Drive-Through Girl Scout Cookie Sale Coming To East Meadow
You can purchase your favorite Girl Scout cookies from the comfort of your car this weekend.

EAST MEADOW, NY — An East Meadow Girl Scout troop is holding the first-ever drive-through Girl Scout cookie sale in the area this weekend.
From noon to 4 p.m. on Saturday, you can purchase your favorite Girl Scout cookies from the safety and comfort of your car. The sale will be held at the Town of Hempstead's Veterans Memorial Park and Pool, located at 1700 Prospect Ave in East Meadow. The sale is being held by Daisy Troop No. 1119 of East Meadow
“We’re happy to work with the Girl Scouts to provide them with a safer option for their fundraising program,” said Hempstead Town Supervisor Donald Clavin. “I wish them the best as they pursue this new innovative way to promote their programs and to support their cause.”

The drive-through sale is designed to limit person-to-person exposure to keep people safe during the coronavirus pandemic. Customers must wear masks, even in the car.
Masks must be worn at all times during the sale, even for people in their cars.
