Driver Crashes Into Westbury Office Building: Police
State police say the driver suffered a medical emergency and lost control of their car while coming off the Northern State Parkway.

WESTBURY, NY — A driver lost control of their car due to a medical emergency and crashed into a Westbury office building Thursday night, state police said.
According to state police, a person was heading east on the Northern State Parkway just before 8 p.m. Thursday and started to exit the road. As they were exiting, the driver suffered a medical emergency. They struck multiple signs, went through the metal guardrail and crashed into the office building at 400 Post Ave.
Police say the driver was alone in the car, and no one in the building was injured. The driver, who police did not identify, was taken to Nassau University Medical Center with non-life-threatening injuries.
