The day continued with the annual “exploration” of the district’s nine buildings as Barnum Woods Elementary School Principal Gregory Bottari once again led the bus tour. Mr. Bottari was joined this year by Director of Literacy and Funded Programs Frank Lukasik. The duo educated the group about each building while also testing their knowledge of East Meadow history.

Assistant Superintendent for Curriculum and Instruction Dr. David Casamento concluded the day with closing remarks. He encouraged the teachers to focus on continuous improvement for student success to ensure “great” happens here.
