Islanders Fans Can Attend Games Again Starting March 18
The Barn is reopening to fans next month, and season ticket holders will get the first chance to snag seats.

UNIONDALE, NY — The Islanders are coming back to the Barn, and soon fans will be able to watch them play there.
The Islanders announced today that the team will be resuming home games at Nassau Coliseum starting March 18. This comes after Gov. Andrew Cuomo announced earlier this month that arenas and other venues would be allowed to reopen starting Feb. 23.
"Thank you to the Nassau Coliseum staff and the many others working hard so that Islanders fans can attend games in this last season at the Coliseum," the team wrote in a statement.

Seating at Nassau Coliseum will be limited to 10 percent capacity, and other social distancing requirements will be followed, the Islanders said in their announcement.
On March 11, the Islanders will host 1,000 frontline workers from Northwell Health to thank them for their work during the pandemic.

Games will open to the general public starting on March 18, when the Islanders host the Flyers. According to the team, season tickets holders will have priority for all home games. Remaining tickets will be available to the rest of the public.
"I'm thrilled that Islanders fans will be able to rock the Barn next month," said Nassau County Executive Laura Curran. "This is a big step towards our safe return to normal, and the reopening of the Coliseum means so much for Nassau. We know virus risk is dramatically reduced with precautions in place and rules being followed. I'm confident that we're ready to do this safely and smoothly, and hope we can soon further increase the number of fans in the stands."
