Man Killed In Uniondale Car Crash
Police say the man lost control of his car and hit a tree, sustaining serious injuries.
UNIONDALE, NY — A man died after a car crash in Uniondale Sunday evening, Nassau County police said.
According to police, a 40-year-old man was driving a 2005 Ford pickup truck east on Smith Street at 6:05 p.m. when he lost control of the truck and hit a tree. The driver sustained multiple traumatic injuries from the crash.
He was pronounced dead at the scene by a paramedic. Police say the investigation is ongoing, but that there doesn't appear to be any criminality at this time.
