Man Inappropriately Touched Girl While She Slept: Nassau Police
Police said the man touched the girl then fled when she woke up and screamed.

UNIONDALE, NY — A man was arrested Saturday after Nassau County police said he inappropriately touched a girl while she was sleeping.
According to police, around 2 a.m. on Saturday, the 14-year-old girl was asleep under blankets when Carlos Bueso Velasquez, 36, of Uniondale, began to inappropriately touch her. The girl woke up and screamed, which caused Velasquez to walk away, police said. The girl and her mother then called police.
Police said Velasquez was later found walking in the neighborhood and was arrested.

Velasquez was charged with third-degree sexual abuse and endangering the welfare of a child. He was arraigned on Jan. 23. A temporary order of protection was issued, and Velasquez was ordered held on $25,000 cash bail, which was not posted.
Police asked anyone who thinks they may have been victimized by Velasquez to call detectives at 516-573-6153.
