Nassau PD Announces Road Closures For Eisenhower Park Fireworks

In order to keep things calm around the Eisenhower Park fireworks show set for June 30, the Nassau County Police Department announced road closures in the area.

The fireworks are scheduled to begin at sundown. Road closures will begin at 9:15 p.m. The following roads will be closed:

• Merrick Avenue from Hempstead Turnpike to Old Country Road
• Stewart Avenue from Merchants Concourse/Endo Boulevard to Merrick Avenue
• The southbound Merrick Avenue off ramp from the eastbound Charles Lindberg Boulevard to the northbound Meadowbrook Parkway main ramp
• The northbound Meadowbrook Parkway ramp to eastbound Stewart Avenue

Police say the roads should re-open between 11 and 11:3o p.m.
