'Robin's Racers' Fundraise For Breast Cancer in Honor of Local Survivor

The event will take place on Sunday, October 4 to raise money for American Cancer Society/Making Strides Against Breast Cancer.

At the age of 33, Robin was diagnosed with breast cancer. The shocking news came just after the birth of her second daughter.

After a courageous battle, Robin, a longtime East Meadow resident, is now a two-year survivor of the disease. The experience inspired her to help others — those who, like Robin, had to embark on that dark road filled with feelings of uncertainty and despair. Robin’s Racers was created to raise awareness of breast cancer and give back to others battling the disease.
