Second-Prize Winning Powerball Ticket Sold in Port Jefferson
$564 million multi-state lottery fifth largest in U.S. history.

Two Suffolk County businesses sold second-prize winning tickets in Wednesday’s $564 million multi-state Powerball drawing.
A 7-Eleven store at 408 Route 112 in Port Jefferson Station and 57 Shell Station at 1331 Motor Parkway in Hauppauge were among four second-place tickets sold in New York.
The three winning tickets were sold in North Carolina, Texas and Puerto Rico, matching the numbers 25, 11, 54, 13 and 39 and a Powerball of 19. The four tickets sold in New York matched five numbers but didn’t hit the Powerball and are worth $1 million apiece, according to lottery officials.
