TFCU To Open East Meadow Branch With No Tellers
The credit union plans to open the branch next year. It will be one of three new tellerless branches on Long Island.

Teachers Federal Credit Union announced that it plans to open three new locations on Long Island next year that won't have human tellers on the premise, and one of them will be in East Meadow.
According to Newsday, the new branch is scheduled to open in the first quarter of next year. In addition, there will also be tellerless branches opening in Kings Park and Stonybrook.
Newsday reported that the credit union will have tellers at its Hauppauge headquarters that will interact with customers through video screens. If all goes well, the credit union plans to convert its other locations to the same model.
