Uniondale Unlocks the Power of Community

Uniondale, N.Y. --The Uniondale Union Free School District recently hosted an exciting event that brought the entire community together. The event, titled Power of Community Festival, was held at Uniondale High School earlier this month. The community came together to celebrate the start of another new school year. Attendees were welcomed with games, giveaways, food, sports, art, and a variety of performances-- including a performance from the Uniondale Marching Band. Students and family members of all ages came to say goodbye to summer and hello to the back-to-school season.

The Uniondale Union Free School District realizes the importance of creating opportunities that help students connect to one another and realize they are important members of the community.
