Creative Writing with the Long Island Writers Guild: The Long Island Writers’ Guild will be at the East Meadow Public Library to present a monthly writers’ workshop. Patrons can share their stories, poetry, or playwriting on Tuesday at 12:30 p.m.
Video Game Tournament: Calling all teens and tweens! East Meadow Public Library will host its weekly Video Game Tournament on Tuesday at 2 p.m. No registration is necessary. This week's tournament: Marvel Vs. Capcom – Xbox 360
Your Happiness Mattters: Nearby Adelphi University will present "Your Happiness Mattters" at the school's Performing Arts Center on Friday. The evening will include live musical performances and people sharing stories of how they turned their lives around. The event will start at 7 p.m.
