Woman Kicked, Spat On Police Officer And Medic: Nassau PD

EAST MEADOW, NY — A Wyandanch woman was arrested Saturday afternoon after police say she attacked an officer and a medic after getting into a fight with a Walmart employee.

According to police, Cindy Dosette, 39, of Wyandanch, got into an argument with an employee at the East Meadow Walmart around 1:30 p.m. Police and an ambulance were called to the store after police say Dosette took off her shirt and walked out of the front door of the store.

When police arrived, officers tried to place Dosette into custody and put her into the ambulance for treatment, police said. Police say Dosette kicked an officer in his neck, and also kicked a paramedic in her chest. Police say Dosette also continuously spit in the faces of multiple officers and witnesses.

Dosette was arrested and was charged with two counts of second-degree assault. She was arraigned on Sunday and order held on bail of $7,000 bond or $5,000 cash, which was not posted.
