2 Farmingdale Roads To Be Repaved

Residents should prepare for alternative routes beginning between mid-August and early in September.

FARMINGDALE, NY — Merritts Road and Fallwood Parkway will be repaved, starting soon, Town of Oyster Bay supervisor Joseph Saladino announced.

The start dates hinge on the weather, though residents are advised to prepare for alternative routes beginning in mid-August or early September.

Per the Town, Saladino and the Town Board increased road repaving funds by $22 million.

"Your tax dollars will be put to work on repaving and drainage improvements on Merritts Road and Fallwood Parkway," a flyer sent to Farmingdale residents read.
