FARMINGDALE, NY — A ribbon-cutting ceremony is in the works to celebrate the grand reopening of Adventureland, according to the Farmingdale Chamber of Commerce.

Adventureland is Long Island's premier amusement park and has been family-owned since 1962. It is at 2245 Broadhollow Road, Farmingdale. The ribbon cutting is scheduled for noon June 23.

Adventureland was unable to operate throughout the 2020 season due to the coronavirus pandemic. With COVID-19-related restrictions lifted by New York, the park is ready to reopen to the tristate region with its rides, attractions, games and more.
