Adventureland Opens Next Month: What You Should Know

FARMINGDALE, NY — Adventureland is slated to open April 10 — or a day earlier for season pass holders — as the Farmingdale amusement park prepares to kick off its 2021 season.

"We are so excited to welcome guests back for our 59th season!" Caitlin Disclafani, an Adventureland spokesperson, previously told Patch. "We have so much to look forward in 2021 — our new Sports Tower ride will make its debut, we have four new games in the arcade, a new midway game— and so much more!"

From new attractions to coronavirus-related safety measures the park is taking, here's what eager parkgoers should know, according to Adventureland.

New Attractions

• Sports Tower Ride that soars 60-feet above the Adventureland landscape giving riders a 360-degree view of surrounding Farmingdale.
• New Arcade Games, including Pearl Fishery and Connect Four Basketball, test players' skills to win big points.
• New Midway Game, Alfie's Glo-Up lights up the night with a race to the top.
• Tony's Tavern lets those 21 or older imbibe on beer, wine, and seltzer.

Tickets and Schedule

• All guests entering the park will be required to have their own admission ticket.
• April 9: Park opens for season pass holders only from 3 p.m. to 9 p.m.
• April 10: Park opens to the public
• General Admission (2 to 24 years old) — $39.99 + tax
• Adult Admission (25+ years old) — $24.99 + tax
• 1 year old & younger — Free
• All admission prices include unlimited use of the rides.

Keeping Parkgoers Safe

• Adventureland will be open with a 33 percent capacity.
• Admission must be purchased online in advance on the Adventureland website.
• Face masks will be required for all guests more than 2 years old.
• Social distancing will be required on all lines and rides.
• More than 50 sanitizing stations can be found throughout the park.
• Enhanced sanitizing and disinfecting throughout the park and high touch areas.
• Separate entrances/exits for all rides.
• Arrows showing the flow of traffic throughout the park to reduce bi-directional foot traffic.
• Health screening of all employees.
