FARMINGDALE, NY — The intersection of Merritts Road and Hempstead Turnpike was flooded on Tuesday morning in the aftermath of the recent severe thunderstorms.
The Farmingdale Village Water Witch Engine and Hose Co #1 worked on the road, with conditions being solved around 9 a.m. Cars were stuck under the Long Island Railroad trestle, per the company.
