Car Flips Over After Tire Blowout, Hits 2nd Car
The driver was brought to a local hospital.
WYANDANCH, NY — There was a two-car collision after a car overturned due to a tire blowout in Wyandanch on Monday, said the East Farmingdale Volunteer Fire Company. The collision happened on Wellwood Avenue near Smith Street.
The driver of the overturned car was brought to a local hospital in stable condition by Ambulance 1-5-9. The other driver was uninjured, the fire department told Patch.
All East Farmingdale firefighters were under the command of 1st Assistant Chief Duane Welliver.
