Clothing Drive To Help The Homeless Hosted By Farmingdale Realtor

Weichert, Realtors - Performance Homes teamed up with a Long Island charity to help collect clothing for those in need.

FARMINGDALE, NY — Weichert, Realtors® - Performance Homes, a real estate office in Farmingdale, partnered with the Long Island Coalition for the Homeless for a charity to help collect clothing for the homeless population, according to a news release.

The public was invited to support the Weichert affiliate's clothing drive, which ran through late December. Donations were collected from Farmingdale, Massapequa, Bethpage and other nearby areas, and were then dropped off to Amityville-based Long Island Coalition for the Homeless.

Weichert, Realtors® - Performance Homes agents Mark Debrich, Joseph Blesi, Albert Celeste, Oscar Turcios, Lorraine Sorce, Joseph Garcia and Jared Garcia all worked to execute the clothing drive.

"Teaming up with this amazing organization has always been a great way for us to give back to the community and help the less fortunate," said Anthony Garcia, the broker/owner of Weichert, Realtors® - Performance Homes. "This was our third year hosting a clothing drive, and we’re extremely proud of all our team members and those in the community who helped make this a great success."

The Long Island Coalition for the Homeless is a non-profit that provides emergency, transitional and permanent low-cost housing for homeless people and families on Long Island.
