FARMINGDALE, NY — Alibi Speakeasy & Lounge, a Prohibition-themed joint in Farmingdale offering a wide array of cocktails and appetizers, has temporarily closed and won't reopen until it can resume full operation, owners told Patch.

New York State mandated all restaurants and bars to close indefinitely, save for takeout and delivery services, in a bid to stem the spread of the new coronavirus. Gov. Andrew Cuomo announced the measures Monday.

While Alibi is temporarily closed, the business is offering a gift certificate promotion for when it reopens. A $25 gift card is going for $20, while a $50 gift card currently costs $35.
