Crossing The Finish Line: Pole Position Raceway Opens for Business

The facility features two quarter-mile tracks, where karts can travel as fast as 45 miles per hour.

Pole Position Raceway, the new indoor go-kart track in Farmingdale, officially opened its doors to the public Wednesday.

The 120,000-square-foot indoor all-electric go-kart facility, 40 Daniel Street, held a grand opening Tuesday with local officials. 

Owned by husband-and-wife franchisees, Eyal Farage and Karen Davis-Farage, the Farmingdale venture is expected to bring 50 jobs to the local economy. The couple owns three additional sites in New York and New Jersey.

Pole Position Raceway features two quarter-mile tracks, where karts can travel as fast as 45 miles per hour.

There are adult karts for racers who 58 inches and taller and separate junior karts for kids who are at least 48 inches.
