Farmingdale Plans Another Summer Of Free Fun

Music On Main, movie nights, Village Pops concerts and more are all planned for the summer months. And they're all free.

The Village of Farmingdale has announced that tons of free fun and entertainment are returning to Main Street this summer as Music On Main comes back in July.

The free music nights on Main Street, which were a huge hit last year, are returning for another fun summer. Come out on July 12 and 26, and Aug. 9 and 23 for live music each night on Main Street from 5 to 9 p.m. Plus, diners will be able to eat al fresco at Main Street restaurants and take advantage of great deals to shop locally.

In addition to Music On Main, the Village Pops will kick off their 36th season of Concerts on the Green on Wednesday evenings. The free shows start June 27 and 7:30 p.m. On July 3, there will be a special patriotic show. Aug. 1 will be a children's show, and the finale will be on Aug. 8.

On Friday, June 29, the village will be hosting The Muse Exchange Open Mic Night Under The Stars. Local performers will have the chance to come out to the Gazebo on the Village Green and perform.

In addition to all of that, Move Nights on the Green are also coming back. The family movies will show for free, weather, pending. All of the movies start at dusk, and the schedule is:
