Judi Cestaro, director of transfer services and the adult learner initiative at Farmingdale State College, had a vision for a small, personal college fair just for adults, according to the school. It has steadily grown over the past four years.

"I am so proud of continued evolvement of the Adult Learner Fair," Cestaro stated via news release. "The addition of SUNY Online and The Stony Brook School of Professional Development provides adults the opportunity to explore even more educational avenues. I meet with so many adults who wish to pursue a degree or complete one, and don’t know where to begin. This college fair is just for them."

Lori Lyons, director of records and admissions for the School of Professional Development at Stony Brook University, said the university is thrilled to join its SUNY colleagues at this year's fair.

"It's a fantastic opportunity to meet with prospective students from across the state and talk about our professionally-oriented degree and certificate programs," Lyons stated.

Those with questions about the fair were encouraged to contact Cestaro at 934-420-2733 or cestarjm@farmingdale.edu.
