FARMINGDALE, NY — The 8th annual St. Patrick's Day Parade is scheduled to be held in Farmingdale 1 p.m. Sunday March 15. The parade is sponsored by Farmingdale Village and the Farmingdale Village Merchants Association.
The parade kicks off from Northside Elementary School at 55 Powell Place and spans about half a mile down Main Street to the Village Green. It will include local community groups, Farmingdale fire departments, pipe bands, Village officials, Husky Brothers – Snow Dog Club, South Shore Jeep Club and more.
"We are honored to have Monsignor Mark Rowan as Parade Grand Marshal and look forward to a great Parade and St. Patrick’s Day community celebration in Farmingdale Village" Farmingdale Village Mayor Ralph Ekstrand said via news release.
