The Homestead Restaurant Celebrates Farmingdale Grand Opening
The classic American restaurant recently added a second location, this time in Farmingdale.
FARMINGDALE, NY — The Homestead, an American restaurant, recently opened its second location. An Oyster Bay mainstay since 1896, the Homestead celebrated its Farmingdale grand opening on Friday afternoon with a ribbon cutting ceremony, according to the Farmingdale Chamber of Commerce.
The Farmingdale location is 5,400 square feet, seats 185, and offers a custom-made bar with three 65-inch TVs, as well as rooms for business meetings. The Homestead is at 2120 Broadhollow Road.
The menu features a wide variety of options: over a dozen appetizers from pub fare to seafood, soups and salads, wings (on-the-bone or boneless), sandwiches, gourmet burgers, entrees, pasta, steak and chops, as well as sides.

Entrees include homemade meatloaf, shepherd's pie, chicken schnitzel, chicken Brielle, baby back ribs and nut crusted salmon. The burgers reflect cuisine from across the country as well, with options like the New Orleans-inspired Bourbon Street Burger, the Deep South Burger, the Texas Burger and more.
