FARMINGDALE, NY — Farmingdale Diner celebrated its grand re-opening Wednesday morning with a ribbon cutting ceremony. The eatery, at 17 Hempstead Turnpike, is now under the ownership of Harry Savvides and his family.

"It's great," Savvides told Patch. "Farmingdale is a great community, and we're hoping to meet a lot of new residents that are here."
