ICYMI: Farmingdale's Adventureland 'So Excited' To Reopen
Check out this story from earlier in the week on Farmingdale Patch.

FARMINGDALE, NY — Outdoor amusement parks will be able to reopen April 9 at 33 percent capacity, Gov. Andrew Cuomo announced mid-February. That includes one of Long Island's premier theme parks, Adventureland, at 2245 Broadhollow Road.
The park promised new attractions, including a new ride, and shared its thoughts on being able to reopen after the coronavirus pandemic forced it to close through most of its 2020 season.
"We are so excited to welcome guests back for our 59th season!" Caitlin Disclafani, an Adventureland spokesperson, told Patch. "We have so much to look forward in 2021 — our new Sports Tower ride will make its debut, we have four new games in the arcade, a new midway game— and so much more!"

The amusement park typically opens in mid-March and closes the last week of October. Adventureland lost roughly 97 percent of its income in 2020 due to the pandemic. In October, Disclafani had told Patch Adventureland's future was uncertain.
