ICYMI: Meadowbrook State Parkway Overnight Lane Closures Looming

Drivers should expect overnight lane closures on the Meadowbrook State Parkway in the Towns of Hempstead and North Hempstead, starting Sunday, Aug. 18, the New York State Department of Transportation announced.

Up to two lanes in either direction could be closed from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m. between the Northern State Parkway and the bridge for Glenn Curtiss Boulevard near Exit M5. And it will be awhile, as the roadwork is not expected to be completed until late fall.
