BETHPAGE, NY — Tom Schaudel, a top Long Island chef, opened 24 North: A Finer Diner in Bethpage on Tuesday, according to a report by Newsday. The eatery, at 4011 Hempstead Turnpike, attempts to stray from the traditional diner concept.
Some things 24 North plans to do differently is offer a significantly smaller menu than most diners, as well as not serve breakfast, Newsday reported. However, brunch will be served on weekends.
