LI Man Crashes Into Trees On Southern State Parkway
The man, 21, suffered severe head injuries, police said.
WEST BABYLON, NY — A Farmingdale man was seriously injured in a crash Sunday night, New York State Police said. Gerson E. Rauda-Garcia, 21, was speeding above the posted limit while driving a 2005 Honda Civic Del-Sol east on the Southern State Parkway near Belmont Avenue at 8:56 p.m., police said.
Rauda-Garcia lost control of the car and hit several trees, police said. Rauda-Garcia was brought to Good Samaritan Hospital with severe head injuries police said. He was the only person in the car.
