LONG ISLAND, NY — A virtual celebration of the music and art scene of Long Island and beyond is slated to take place in the form of "KEEP 6 FEET Fest." The free online-streamed event will help support artists, vendors and organizations in local communities.

"KEEP 6 FEET Fest" will air in three segments from 1 p.m. to midnight the day of July 25 on live-streaming site iConcert.TV. The platform, founded by Long Island music veteran Chris Pati, favors the artist and vendor by allowing audience members to directly donate, "tip" or purchase from them while streaming at home.

All live donations and proceeds are to be donated back into local communities through various relief organizations designed to help charities such as Equity First Foundation, which provides financial education and resources to educational institutions, community centers, etc., according to Marketing Masters NY, the public relations firm representing the event. Audience members will have the option of donating to specific charities or tipping the artists directly, according to Marketing Masters NY.

The event is the brainchild of "LI Dance/Music/Entertainment Queen" Tiffany Castillo and "legendary LI Promoter" Ralphie Ray from Strong Island Television, according to Marketing Masters NY.

"This will be a Live streaming platform that features artists and helping them to create their own income while performing at a professional standard and simultaneously helping those in need!," Castillo said via news release. "The KEEP 6 FEET mission is to provide the largest digital concert series that brings our community together for the love of music, to support local businesses and charitable organizations. The current pandemic has detrimentally affected the entertainment industry, as well as small businesses and so many others in the community in a significant way."
