Man Arrested In Connection W/ Fatal Overdose In Farmingdale: NCPD

FARMINGDALE, NY — A man was arrested in connection with a drug overdose investigation at 11:15 p.m. in Farmingdale, Nassau police said.

An investigation into a Nassau County resident's fatal overdose led police to arrest Charles Carter, 32, of Amityville, police said. Carter was found by Narcotics/Vice Squad detectives, and he initially resisted arrest, police said.

Carter was charged with third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, third-degree criminal sale of a controlled substance, obstructing governmental administration and resisting arrest. He is scheduled to be arraigned Saturday in Mineola.
