'NeverEnding Story' Returns to Long Island Movie Theaters For Limited Run

Check out which Long Island movie theaters will be showing the film for two days this September.

Falkor will fly again on the big screen this September.

Classic 1980s cinema fans will get a blast from the past when "The NeverEnding Story" returns to select movie theaters for a two-day, nationwide run on Sept. 4 and 7. Several Long Island theaters will be participating.

The upcoming screenings will be the first time the beloved coming-of-age movie has been seen in theaters for more than three decades.

Each screening will include a new featurette, “Reimagine The NeverEnding Story,” which will show before the main attraction. Screenings will take place at 2 and 7 p.m.

Tickets can be purchased online here, or at participating theater box offices. Click here for a full list of participating theaters.

Participating theaters on Long Island include locations in Deer Park, Farmingdale, Holtsville, Stony Brook, and Westbury.
