PDQ Chicken Salutes Law Enforcement Jan. 9th
"BLUE BLOODS" TELEVISION STARS TO VISIT FARMINGDALE
On Thursday, January 9th from 11 AM-1 PM, PDQ CHICKEN (1004 Broadhollow Road, Farmingdale) will hold an "open house" to salute police, law enforcement, and first responders. "As restaurateur business owners, as Long Island residents, we are always aware of the important role that police officers have in life safety," explained PDQ co-owner Dean Poll. "To kick-off 2020, we want to recognize our people in law enforcement," continued co-owner Tom Fanning. "We want to personally express our appreciation to people who work in law enforcement and first response, for their dedication, putting their lives at risk!"
All of PDQ food and beverages will be discounted 50% for any members of law enforcement, first responders, and their families---all day, January 9th.
Joining this celebration (which Mr. Poll and Mr. Fanning want to do every year) will be two cast regulars of the long-time hit CBS Television Network Show, "Blue Bloods": Robert Clohessy, who plays NYPD Lt. Sid Gormley, and Abigail Hawk, who plays NYPD Det. Abigail Baker. On the series both Robert and Abigail are assigned to work for the "NYPD Police Commissioner" played by Tom Selleck.
