Present Your Pooch For The Annual Farmingdale Doggie Parade
Costumed canines will be marching along Main Street this weekend, followed by a pet expo at the Village Green.

This weekend, bring your furriest family member to the Farmingdale Breakfast Rotary Club's Third Annual Doggie Parade and Pet Expo.
Participating pooches (and their owners) will parade from the Stop and Shop on Motor Avenue and Main Street and ends at the Village Green on Main Street. There is a cost of $20 per dog, with the proceeds going fund scholarships for Farmingdale High School students and to other community projects that the Rotary does.
Check-in begins at 9 a.m. at Stop and Shop, and the parade steps off at 10 a.m. Following the parade, the Pet Expo at the Village Green will feature pet vendors, animal blessings and a doggie costume contest. Costumes will be judged in three categories: scariest, most patriotic and best famous character.
