'Pretty in Pink' Returns to Theaters for Valentine's Day in Farmingdale

Want to go back to the '80s this Valentine's Day?

The 1986 love story “Pretty in Pink” returns to select cinemas nationwide this Valentine’s Day to celebrate the film’s 30-year anniversary.

Farmingdale Multiplex Cinemas, located at 1001 Broad Hollow Road, will screen the film for two nights only:

  • Sunday, Feb. 14 at 2 p.m.
  • Wednesday, Feb. 17 at 7 p.m.

Not an ‘80s baby or a Brat Pack lover? Here’s a brief summary of the film:

“Teen sensations Molly Ringwald and Andrew McCarthy drew raves for their starring performances in this bittersweet love story by John Hughes. She’s a high school girl from the wrong side of town. He’s the wealthy heart-throb who asks her to the prom. As fast as their romance builds, it’s threatened by the painful reality of peer pressure.”

The special screening will include some bonus features, including the cast going into details about shooting an alternate ending, The Chicago Tribune reports.
