Dead Whale Washes Up On Fire Island
It's the second humpback whale to wash up on a Long Island beach in the last 10 days.

UPDATE:
FIRE ISLAND, NY – A dead humpback whale washed up on Fire Island Sunday, according to the Atlantic Marine Conservation Society.
The whale was found on the sand at Ocean Bay Park.

"We ask that the public please respect the secured area and keep a distance from the whale," the conservation society said in post on its Facebook page.
On May 18, a 32-foot humpback whale washed up in Long Beach. That whale was likely hit by a boat, officials have said.
