Woodhull Elementary School first grader Philip G. Tamberino recently showcased his perfect penmanship skills and was named a winner in the Zaner-Bloser National Handwriting Contest.

The contest is open to grades K-8 and grade level winners have the chance to advance to the state and national level of the competition. They compete to be named one of nine Grand National Grade Level Champions.
