4 Men Indicted In Brutal Killing Of Woman On LI: Queens DA
The men are accused of viciously beating the 31-year-old woman and stuffing her body in a car's trunk, authorities say.
QUEENS, NY — Four men arrested last month in connection with a vicious attack in Hewlett have been indicted on murder charges, the Queens District Attorney's office said.
The men, Allan Lopez, Jose Sarmiento, Anander Henriquez and Rigel Yohairo, are accused of brutally beating Nazareth Claure, 31, on April 11, Queens District Attorney Melinda Katz said in a statement.
"This was a cruel, ruthless killing," Katz said. "As alleged, the defendants attacked the victim and beat her to death with a machete and a bat. A young boy is now without his mother and a community is grieving. The accused are in custody and will face justice in our legal system."
