Hempstead Town Supervisor Kate Murray on March 2 presented an official Town of Hempstead Citation and served as a guest reader at the Annual Read Across America Day and Dr. Seuss’s 108th Birthday Celebration with Paula Lancer and Cathy LaNatra’s kindergarten class at . Murray encouraged the young people to continue to read, because “readers are leaders.” Murray read the Dr. Seuss book entitled “Oh The Things You Can Think” to the students.
