Local students named to Dean's List at Washington University in St. Louis

The following students were named to the Dean's List for the fall 2011 semester at Washington University in St. Louis.

  • Jacob Silverman Kayen of Hewlett, NY (11557), was named to the Dean's List for the fall 2011 semester. Kayen is a graduate of Lynbrook Senior High School in Lynbrook, NY, and is enrolled in the university's College of Arts & Sciences. To qualify for the Dean's List in the College of Arts & Sciences, students must earn a semester grade point average of 3.5 or above and be enrolled in at least 14 graded units.
  • Traci Krasne of Woodsburgh, NY (11598), was named to the Dean's List for the fall 2011 semester. Krasne is a graduate of George W Hewlett High School in Hewlett, NY, and is enrolled in the university's College of Arts & Sciences. To qualify for the Dean's List in the College of Arts & Sciences, students must earn a semester grade point average of 3.5 or above and be enrolled in at least 14 graded units.
  • Jessica Lauren Rosen of Hewlett, NY (11557), was named to the Dean's List for the fall 2011 semester. Rosen is a graduate of Lynbrook Senior High School in Lynbrook, NY, and is enrolled in the university's College of Arts & Sciences.   • Chloe Dylan Steindam of Valley Stream, NY (11581), was named to the Dean's List for the fall 2011 semester. Steindam is a graduate of Valley Stream South High School in Valley Stream, NY, and is enrolled in the university's College of Arts & Sciences. To qualify for the Dean's List in the College of Arts & Sciences, students must earn a semester grade point average of 3.5 or above and be enrolled in at least 14 graded units.

Twenty-three Nobel laureates have been associated with Washington University, with nine doing the major portion of their pioneering research there.
