Long Island Philharmonic set to perform at the Lakeside Theatre in Eisenhower Park.

Eisenhower Park will host the Long Island Philharmonic Friday.

The orchestra, led by David Stewart Wiley, will honor the Knights of Pythias at their concert at the Lakeside Theatre.

The concert kicks off at 7 p.m. and is free to attend.

The Long Island Philharmonic is a 35-year-old orchestra that has risen to national recognition in its relatively few years in existence. The orchestra’s cultural and educational facets have introduced generations of musicians young and old to another side of music.
