Nassau County police said on Tuesday that Marine Bureau officers recovered the  body of a 36-year-old man who apparently drowned in the water off of Inwood Park.
The victim was pronounced deceased at the scene. The body was removed to the Medical Examiners’ Office for further examination.
Police said there appears to be no criminality at this time. The identity of the victim is being withheld pending family notification.
