- Scott Eidler breaks down the new Nassau County initiative giving Nassau County police officers $3,000 stipends for choosing to wear body cams. The program will first be rolled out this fall in the 8th Precinct and the 5th Precinct, which covers covers Franklin Square, Valley Stream, North Valley Stream, and West Hempstead. (Newsday)
- Scott Eidler also has the latest on State Senator Todd Kaminsky's campaign for Nassau County district attorney. The Democrat from Long Beach is framing himself as a corruption fighter. (Newsday)
- Jerry Barmash reports on an elder scam that targeting a Cedarhurst man. The 82-year-old man helped police arrest Milyone Clariot, 21, of Yonkers who tried to sell the victim information. Clariot will face third-degree attempted grand larceny. (Patch)

- John Asbury covers the renaming of a road and shopping center in Woodmere after David Friedman, a former resident and U.S. Ambassador to Israel under Trump. The stretch of road at Franklin Place and Broadway and a shopping center alley were christened David M. Friedman Plaza. (Newsday)
