Floral Park Girls Basketball Team Make State Finals
The girls made it to the finals of the State Public High School Athletic Association Class A championship last month.

FLORAL PARK, NY - The Floral Park Memorial High School Girls basketball team recently made it to the finals at the state competition.
Nassau County Executive Edward P. Mangano congratulated the team for making it to the New York State Public High School Athletic Association Class A finals at Hudson Valley Community College on Tuesday, March 12.
The team visited the Theodore Roosevelt Executive and Legislative Building in Mineola to commemorate their Nassau County and Long Island Championships.

“It takes tremendous dedication, commitment and hard work from your teammates and coaches to become County and Long Island Champions!” Mangano said. “Nassau County is truly proud to serve as home to Class A Semifinal Champs!”
